After a bit of pondering, we have realized that we are often the ones at fault when it comes to the kids helping around the house. Like everything else, if there is not a system in place it doesn’t happen. So in an effort to get the kids trained around the house, we also need provide them with the tools to be successful. Having a system, hopefully, will also eliminate the feeling of sounding like a “broken record”. If they know what the expectations are then they are more likely to follow through. So in search of a system that works, we came across a few ideas we would like to share. Please share with us what works for your family! Another topic of discussion we would love to explore: Should children be rewarded for work around the house or is this just part of being in a family?
